Along with user roles, bilabl system helps you manage the access to specific functions of a matter and a client with visibility settings:

  • Owners have full privileges on assigned clients such as editing, deleting or generating billing statements.
  • Assistants can contribute to assigned entities. They can for example, add time or add costs to assigned matters, add notes, and access the calendar.

Update Visibility Settings

You can update the visibility setting for clients and matters via:

  • Client or matter detail page, click on working team.
  • Client or matter edit page, click on visibility from the left navigation.
  • Client or matter listing pages, click on the more icon of a specific client and click on manage visibility.
  • Client and matter listing pages, hover over a particular client and click on the manage icon in the visibility column.
