Bilabl system supports over 160 currencies for invoicing and customer payments. Exchange rates can be manually updated in the tenant settings and tracked in your billing control.

Add new currency

In case you do not set up anything, the default currency in the system is USD.

If you want to create a new currency that your invoice and payment will need in the future, take the following steps.

Step 1: Go to tenant setting, click on manage currency and then click on the add-new-currency button.

Step 2: Choose the currency in the drop-down list, and enter an exchange rate. Click on save.

  • Choose the base currency (default tenant currency). You’ll choose your base currency while adding a new tenant in bilabl. This is your default currency, it’s used in most reports and tables. You can change the base currency if you want by clicking on the radio button in the default column.

How does it work

After having set up the tenant currency you need, it shows in several areas such as add time cost, and billing to provide the user with more options. Base currency displays as default there.

  • Add time/cost form
  • Billing form

You can see that, the exchange rate is set up in the tenant setting. You might like to edit the following for the engagement letter.
